"Exchequer Chambers, Edinburgh, Feb 1, 1822.

Notice is hereby given to all concerned, that Isobella McHardy, the only child of Norman McHardy, Tenant in Castleton of Corgarff, in the County of Aberdeen, and the deceased Janet Anderson, his Spouse, who was the natural daughter of the deceased Alexander Anderson of Candacraig, by Isobella Kellas – and the said Norman McHardy, as Administrator in Law to his said daughter – have applied to the Right Honourable Barons, for a Gift of Bastardy of the Estate of the late Charles Anderson, son of the said deceased Alexander Anderson, who died in the Island of Jamaica, in October, 1817."


Isabella McHardy was recorded at the family farm of Delavine in Corgarff, Parish of Strathdon, Aberdeenshire, Scotland in the 1851 Census living with her 90 year old Grandmother Isobella Kellas.

Isabella McHardy died May 7, 1894, aged 72 years.
