SERVICES TUESDAY FOR ORBEY MURRAY
LAUREL-Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Zion United Methodist Church for Orbey Murray, 66, of Ellisville, who died Saturday at Ellisville Municipal Hospital.
The Rev. James Twiner will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery. Memory Chapel Funeral Home is in charge.
Mr. Murray was a truck driver for Sheppard Butane Co. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and had lived most of his life in Jones County. He was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church, the Ellisville Post of the American Legion and the Ellisville Jaycees.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mark (Linda) Ekes of Laurel and Mrs. John (Audrey) Dennis of Ellisville; one brother, Charles Murray of Ellisville; one sister, Mrs. Ina Armstrong of Ellisville and three grandchildren.
The Laurel Leader Call obit names the grandchilren as: Jennifer and Mickey Ekes, Laurel and Teresha Dennis, Ellisville.
