James Houldson Rites Are Held; Resident of Near Dugger dies in Mary Sherman Hospital.
Funeral services were held in the Mt. Moriah church Sunday afternoon at two o'clock for James Arthur Houldson, 63 years of age, of Dugger route 1, who died in the Mary Sherman hospital at Sullivan, Friday evening at 8:30 o'clock. The deceased was born in Sullivan county on Sept. 28, 1880, the son of James and Sarah Houldson. He was employed in the local coal fields as long as his health permitted. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Eliza Houldson, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two brothers Otha Houldson of Sullivan, rural route, and Harry Houldson, of Utah and one sister Mrs. Fannie Shanks of Indianapolis. Interment Mt. Moriah cemetery.
