Funeral services for Odell Lee Banks, 17, of Richmond, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Booth, with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Booth. Friends may call the Evans Mortuary after 2:30 p.m. Sunday. A wake service is scheduled for 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Banks was born in Richmond and was a student at B.F. Terry High School.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Dorothy Jean Banks of Richmond; two bothers, Manuel Banks, Jr. and Robert Louis Banks, both of Richmond; four sisters, Mrs. Helen Jean Ray, Ruby Elois Banks, Irma Delores Banks, and Odetta Mae Banks, all of Richmond; his grandfather, Samuel W. Tyler of Richmond; and many other relatives and friends.
