Mary Jo Wells Cherry 78 of Pascagoula, MS, passed away Saturday February 5, 2011 in Pascagoula, MS surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 12, 1932 in Noxapater, MS to the late Doyle and Sallaie V. Jackson Wells. Mrs. Cherry married Her husband Robert Cherry in May 1949, and they had 61 years together. She will be remembered as a loving and
caring wife,mother,grandmother, sister and friend. She was the Corporate Secretary and Director of Brumfield's/Marks Rothenburg Co., and retired from there after 40 years of service. Mrs. Cherry was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Pascagoula, MS .She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 infant brothers who died at birth. She leaves cherished memories to her husband Robert T. Cherry of Pascagoula, MS, two daughters, Bobbie Jo (James) Cline and Cathy (Keith) Morie both of Pascagoula, MS, grandchildren, Jeffery Cline, Brandon Cline, Travis Morie, Megan Morie and Danielle Morie, her sister, Ramona Thigpen of Pascagoula and her Bill Wells of Wade, MS. Family and friends may gather one hour prior, at Heritage Funeral Home to travel in the procession to the cemetery.
