Gerald "Jerry" Lee Thomsen, age 42 of Randolph, MN passed away unexpectedly Friday evening in Ashland, WI.
Jerry was born on October 21, 1968 in Saint Paul, the son of Ted and Judy (Doehling) Thomsen. He was married to Kris Schwartz at Grace Lutheran Church in South Saint Paul on September 21, 1996. Jerry was a longtime employee of Bonfe's Auto Service in St. Paul.
Jerry was an active member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Randolph. He enjoyed racing at Elko Speedway, snowmobiling, lawnmower racing, and spending time with family and friends.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Kris; his children, Megan and Tyler Thomsen of Randolph; parents, Judy and Ted Thomsen of South Saint Paul; sister, Tammy Thomsen of South Saint Paul and many friends.
Jerry was preceded in death by his grandparents; and three uncles.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 5 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Randolph, with Pastor Steven Schwartz celebrating. Interment will be held immediately following the service. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5-8 p.m. at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls. There will also be visitation one hour prior to service at the church on Saturday.
Active pallbearers will be Ryan Jenrich, Rob Jacobson, Tony Splichal, Kevin Willems, Paul Auckland and Rodney Pangburn
Honorary pallbearer will be Jim Jaggars.
