Born c.1708, Mary Harrison was in the "70th Year of her age" when she died in August 1778. She was the wife of Joseph Harrison, Sr., who survived her by less than a year, dying in the "82nd Year of his age" the following summer. The couple's dual gravestone, which features two soul effigies of the portrait type, appears to be the work of a craftsman known as the Common New Jersey Carver. Made of brown sandstone, it bears the inscription:

"See hear they Sleep in this Small Room
Confind within the Ground
And wait to See their Saviour Coming
With Glory flaming Round
They wait the Call Ye Dead arise
This Grave must then obey
And waking up with Joyfull Eyes
Will hail the Glorious Day"

Note: "hear", "confind" (sic)
