He died at Amarillo Osteopathic Hospital of coronary disease. His Texas death certificate states he was still married and was transported to Ponca City, OK for burial at Longwood Cemetery. However, there is no Texas death certificate for his wife, Ollie Almeda Baker, if she was his only wife.
