Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 from the home, Rev. O. T. Anderson, pastor of the first Presbyterian church of Lowville, officiating. Burial will be at the Beaches Bridge cemetery in the spring.
Surviving are Mr. Lomber's wife, Mrs. Ida Hulbert Lomber; one son, Fay E. Lomber, Beech Hill; one daughter, Mrs. Theodore (Ruth) Peake, Lowvlle; two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Randolph of Lowville and Mrs. Fred (Anna) Pierce, Croghan; one granddaughter and one greatgrandson.
Born July 28, 1872, Mr. Lomber was the son of Nicholas and Susan Turck Lomber. He married Miss Ida Hulbert, Dec. 7, 1901, at Croghan, and, until his retirement he operated the farm at the Lomber homestead all his life.
