Dies In Oriskany
Mrs. Clara A. Puffer, wife of Ernest Puffer, 432 Miller St., Oriskany, died August 21st at her home after a short illness. She was born in New Bremen Jan. 9, 1888, the daughter of William and Elinora Strickland Wickham, and was educated in the Lowville schools. She had, lived in Oriskany since 1926.
She was married to Ernest A. Puffer, June 21 1913, in Lowville. Mrs. Puffer was a member of the Baptist church.
Surviving are her husband, three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Fitch, Buffalo, Mrs. Pearl Fruin, Camden, Mrs. Fred Petrie, Rome; a brother, Charles Wickham of Carthage, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Dimbleby Funeral Home, Main St., Whitesboro, Thursday, Aug. 25th, at. 11 a. m. Interment was made in
Beaches Bridge cemetery.
