Owen Ray Brewer 88 of Avon, Indiana passed away Friday February 25, 2011. He was born July 6, 1922 in Danville, Kentucky the son of David Ray and Louella Conder Brewer.
Mr. Brewer was a teller and messenger for Indiana National Bank and BankOne 45 years. He also worked at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for 57 years. He was a member of Avon Heights Church of Christ and was a member of the Mooresville Senior Bowling League at Western Bowl. Owen served his country in the U.S. Navy during W.W.II.
He is survived by his wife, Beulah Mae Holland Brewer; two sons, Owen Gary (Carol L.) Brewer and Ronald Keith (Carrie) Brewer; Sister, Marie Morrison; five grandchildren, Carrie Jane Benac, Sandra Deniese Brewer, James Owen Brewer, Mitch Brewer and Anissa Croaff and 4 great grandchildren.
