Mr. Denton was born September 13, 1920 to Addison L. and Iva Kate Denton in Morris, Oklahoma, and passed away February 23, 2011, in Longview.
Mr. Denton was a World War II veteran, serving in the 339th Fighter Squadron, with the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Denton, sons Dan Denton; Darryl Denton and wife Mirielle; Duane Denton and wife Julee; grandson, Zachary Denton; nephew, Ronal Ross; niece, Carol Jean Meador; nephew Billy Wishnie; nephew, Bobby Wishnie.
Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the funeral home.
