Elsie M. Ring, 85, of 161 Harvester Street, Winona, died Thursday, March 18, 2010.
Elsie was born September 4, 1924, in Hacker Valley, W. Va., to William and Dorsie (Jordan) Pritt. She married Peter E. Ring on July 13, 1957, in Menden, Nev.

Elsie lived in Waukegan, Ill., Honolulu, Hawaii and Washington State prior to moving to Winona in 1971.

She was employed by Schuler Chocolates, Lake Center Industries and EMD. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, the united Way and the Chamber of Commerce.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter, on December 21, 1998; three sisters, Mabel, Ruth and Patricia; and a brother, Paul.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 23, at Martin-Myhre Funeral Chapel.

Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Visitation will b e held Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of services at Martin-Myhre Funeral Home.
