Mrs. Alford died Friday, May 1, 1992, at Applewood Inn care center in Redding [Shasta County, CA].
Born July 1, 1915, in Plano, Idaho, she moved to Shasta County in 1978 from Salinas. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by sons Richard of Redding, Robert of Eagle Point, Ore., and Dale of Salinas; sisters Lucille Noe and Donna Smith, both of Boise, Idaho and Magie Wilson of Roy, Utah; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3290 Bechelli Lane, Redding, CA 96002.
Arrangements are being handled by McDonald's Redding Chapel.
