JULIUS A. DEHN DIES SUDDENLY THIS MORNING. Julius A. Dehn, prominent Lanes Prairie farmer of the Dover neighborhood, died at 5:30 o'clock this morning.

Death apparently was caused by a heart attack.

Mrs. Dehn heard her husband gurgling, called to him but received no answer. He was dead when she reached him.

Funeral arrangements were not complete this morning but were expected to be conducted Sunday afternoon at the Vichy Church of Christ, of which he was a member and leader. Morton's Service will have charge of the burial.

LAST RITES FOR J. A. DEHN, 71, HELD AT BELLE.

Funeral services for Julius Albert Dehn, 71-year-old farmer and stockman of the Dover neighborhood, were conducted Saturday afternoon at Liberty Church of Christ with Arvil Elrod and Eldon Rogers, the pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Liberty Cemetery with Morton's Service in charge of arrangements.

Choir services were led by Luther Martin of Rolla, a former minister of the Church of Christ at Vichy.

Mr Dehn was a member of the Church of Christ at Vichy, was an elder in the church and a leader in its activities. Last rites were conducted at Liberty because of the accommodations for a larger crowd.

Mr. Dehn died at the family home Thursday morning, May 12. He had been in failing health for the past two years but his death came suddenly and unexpectedly.

He was born on Lanes Prairie, a son of Charley F. Dehn and Mary (Nieweg) Dehn. He had lived most of his life in that community where he was engaged in farming.
