Well Known Actor Dies After a Long Sickness
Charles J. Ross, the well known actor, died at his home near Asbury Park Saturday after a long; sickness.
About a year ago he underwent an operation for the removal of his spleen. He had. steadily failed in health since. Mr. Ross's real name was Kelly, and he was born in Montreal 57 year ago. When horse racing was held a Monmouth Park Mr. Ross had charge of the clubhouse betting.. Later he went on the stage" and made good from the start. He married Mabel Fenton, who appeared in theatricals with him. Several years ago they bought a large estate at Wanamassa and they conducted a road house there. The couple had no children
