Biography

When Franklin Monroe Hunt and his twin brother William M. were born in 1842 in Missouri, their father, Andrew, was 24, and their mother, Sarah, was 21; his mother died in 1854 and his father remarried to Mary F. Jackson. Frank married Mary Ellen 'Ella' Southard (1853-) on [1] and they had at least two children:

Ora Elmer (1872–1969)
Irvin Leland (1877–1933)

I'm not sure when Mary died but Franklin moved from Arena, CA to Yavapai County, Arizona between 1880[2] and 1888.[3] He eventually relocated back to California and then married the widow of James H. Muse, Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Beals (1842-1929), on December 24, 1914, in Imperial, California.[4] Frank moved them back to Arizona, this time to Phoenix, before 1920[5] where they lived with Elizabeth's daughter, Lenora (Muse) Miller, and her husband, Ross. Frank died on November 21, 1923, in Phoenix, Arizona, at the age of 81, and was buried there.[6]
