RITES SUNDAY FOR
LT. O'CHESKEY
Lt. O'Cheskey rites set for Sunday, Body of Lt. John W. O'Cheskey, popular Carlsbad youth, who was killed in an army pane crash near Ephrata, Wash., last Saturday, his mother, Mrs. Marie O'Cheskey and his sister, Mrs. Kenneth Cass, were informed today. The body will be accompanied by Lt. Jack Johnson of the Ephrata Army Air Base. Although no definite date has been set, it was announced funeral services have been tentativly arranged for 5 p.m. Sunday at the Lutheran Church. Lt. O'Cheskey was a member of the church. Military funeral rites will be conducted at the Carlsbad Cemetery. Lt. O'Cheskey prominent in high school athletics and a member of the 1940 graduating class, entered the Army Air Corps last August. He received his second lieutenant commission about two months ago. He was the first pilot on a B-17 plane. He visited here recently with his------ con't on page 6 Could not locate. Funeral services are scheduled to be held at 5 o'clock Sunday for Lt. John W. O'Cheskey, who was killed in a plane crash last Friday at Ephrata, Washington.
Lt. O'Cheskey is the son of Mrs. Marie O'Cheskey of Carlsbad, and a brother of Mrs. Kenneth Cass of Carlsbad.
