Polly first married Orville Paul Hartsell. They had a son Ronnie. Paul served his country during World War 11. He died in the hospital in Memphis TN., from Lukemia. Polly would drive all the way from Knoxville, to be by his side. She talked about how much she loved him. She went on with her life, but never forget him.

She married 2nd James C. "Jay" "J.C." Taylor. They had a son Brian. Brian became a Minister, both Polly and Jay were so proud of him.
