MANCHESTER - Funeral services for Robert W. Wilcox, 68, who died Wednesday night in Waterbury, will be held Saturday at 2 pm from the Stevens Funeral Home for Funerals in Arlington.
He was born in Sandgate Nov 24, 1891, the son of Albert and Edna Skidmore Wilcox. His early life was spent in farming and his later years as a carpenter.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Matthews of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Mrs. Stella Lamb of Crown Point, N.Y.; a son, Gilbert E. Wilcox of East Arlington; two brothers, Clifford Wilcox of Arlington and Andrew A. Wilcox of Shelton, Conn.; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Kelley of Manchester Center and Mrs. Fanny Morse of Rutland; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 pm. Burial will be in Allen Cemetery, Sunderland.
