Miss Moody was born in Mullins on March 1, 1948, a daughter of Betty Graham Moody and the late William B. Bill Moody.
She grew up in the Sampit community of Georgetown County, graduated from Andrews High School, and attended Columbia Commercial College. Miss Moody was a former teachers assistant at Andrews Elementary School. She was a member of Sampit United Methodist Church, where she was a former Sunday School teacher.
In addition to her father, Miss Moody was predeceased by: her brother, William Boyce Moody, Jr.
Surviving, in addition to her mother of Georgetown, are: a sister-in-law, Roberta Moody of Andrews; two nephews, William Moody and his wife Kristen and Matthew Moody; a niece, Meredith M. Kellahan and her husband Ken; and two great-nieces, Sarah Kensley Kellahan and Ella Moody.
Funeral Services will be two o'clock, Saturday afternoon, February 10, 2007, at Sampit United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Bruce Adams, the Rev. Frank S. Holsclaw, and the Rev. Murray W. Powell. Burial will follow in Sampit United Methodist Cemetery.
