She was born July 8, 1935, in Lorain. She lived in Florida for three years.
Mrs. Warrer-Boerwinkle had been employed at Lorain Community Hospital for 25 years as an emergency room medical secretary, retiring in 1996.
Survivors include her husband of 19 years, John Boerwinkle; daughters Dawn Drusky of Rocky River, Patricia de la Cruz of Melbourne, Fla., Donna Zaree of Amherst, Jill Mihalik of Avon and Kathy Younkin of Lorain; brother, Charles Ellis of Lorain; sister, Patricia Goodrich of Arizona; and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Warrer; father Edgar Ellis; mother, Marie Ellis (nee Hauer); and brother, Edgar Ellis Jr.
Friends may call Friday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home, 2920 Broadway, Lorain, where services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. Angel Rodriguez will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
