A square white marble obelisk on a double bracketed grey granite base, is found at Cochran Cemetery, north-east of Lacona, Warren County, Iowa with double inscriptions on two sides of the obelisk.
It is for H.R. Proctor and his second wife Nancy, inscribed as follows:

died April 17, 1908
The other side:
Wife of H.R. Proctor
June 10, 1849
Feb 12, 1924
The cemetery listing at Cochran Cemetery notes: Row 22, the marker for: Proctor, Nancy A., wf of H.R., b. Jun 10, 1849, d Feb 12, 1924 and "ss" (same stone) H.R. b Apr 8, 1835, d Apr 17, 1908 and:
"A precious one from us is gone. A voice we loved is stilled. A place is vacant in our home, Which never can be filled."
Nancy married Christopher Christian Claytor, on July 3, 1911 at Lucas, Iowa.
