Arlene J. Freeman was the wife of Byron V. Freeman. When I was a young child attending the Village of Rolfe Elementary School, Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Freeman was one of my teachers. I was so surprised when I became school librarian at the Ridgway High School - Arlene was an English teacher there at the same time. We became very good friends and shared many a story about our adventures in a rural school at an earlier time. She and Byron lived 101 North Mill St., Ridgway, PA. Byron died June 1996.
