OBITUARY
MRS. SAMANTHA MORGAN
Died in Morgantown, Ms. Feb. 25, 1916, Mrs. Samantha Morgan, beloved wife of Mr. J. A. Morgan. Aunt Mant was loved by all that knew her and had been a consistent member of the Baptist Church for many years. Her father was Richmond Dunaway, of Carter's Creek, Ms., Her mother was Jennie Beard, daughter of Aaron Beard and Kizzie Carter Beard, who was among the first settlers of Marion County, Ms. The deceased leaves a devoted husband, six sons and two daughters to mourn her death. W. N. , Joda, Lewis, Jean, Dennis, and Fate Morgan are her sons, and Mrs. Robert Hammond and Mrs. Ed Johnson, her daughters, all of Morgantown. The deceased was born Feb. 27th, 1847. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. Blessed be the name of the Lord. W. B. Russell
