Anna was born, probably in Deerfield, Franklin, Massachusetts, on February 22, 1666. She was the daughter of Samuel and Mehitable Johnson Hinsdale. On December 10, 1684 in Hatfield, Hampshire, Massachusetts, she married Martin Kellogg. They settled in Hadley, Hampshire and had two children. Five days after the birth of the second child, named Anna after her mother, the mother Anna died on July 19, 1689. She is buried in the Old Hadley Cemetery.
