The daughter of John Dickinson, she was the widow of Samuel Lane and second wife of Capt. Martin Kellogg. The Kellogg family resided at Deerfield, Mass. on Feb. 29, 1704 when the French and Indians raided Deerfield. Capt. Kellogg, his wife (Sarah) and four children were taken captive and taken to Canada. Their son, Jonathan Kellogg was killed during the raid.
