Mr. Arnoldus was born in Lovell, Wyoming on December 11, 1921, and passed away in a Bakersfield hospital on Monday evening, November, 25, 1991.
He served in World War II and the Korean conflict. During the Korean Conflict he was a radar operator aboard the all weather interceptor, the F-94. he was discharged from the Air Force with the rank of captain.
Mr. Arnoldus was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Taft Ward and was a member of the Taft Ward Bishopric and Mutual. He was also a member of the Taft-Midway Lodge #426, F&AM. He taught in the Taft City Schools for over 30 years. Mr. Arnoldus enjoyed beekeeping and wood working.
His survivors include his wife or 45 years, Lucille Arnoldus of Taft; his son and his wife, his daughter, his brother, his sister, his grandchildren, his four great grandchildren, his brother-in-law, and his wife, his sister-in-law and her husband, his special nephew, and his wife, and several other nieces and nephews.
