Funeral services were held Sunday from the church of Christ in Olney for Charles E. Presnall, 89, who died Thursday night of a heart attack.

William O. Hall, minister of the church of Christ, assisted by Stanley Shipp of Knox City, officiated.

Presnall was born in Tennessee, and moved to Texas with his parents when a small boy. They settled near Weatherford in Parker County, and he was married to Miss Effie Mae Carter on 1 October 1901. He was buried on their 49th wedding anniversary.

They moved to Olney in 1920, but later returned to Parker County, where he farmed until retiring in 1940 and moving back to Olney.

Nine children were born to the Presnalls and they were all here for the funeral with the exception of one, Mrs. Carmille Locousier of Denver, Colorado.

Survivors: widow; nine children - Mrs. Flossie Gilbert of MIneral Wells; Haskell Presnall of Knox City; Mrs. N.L. King of Olney; Mrs. E.J. Turner of Newcastle; Debs Presnall of Graybull, WY; Mrs. W.J. Wood of LaCross, WI; Hermleigh Presnall of San Angelo Coney Gene Presnall of Abilene; MRs. Carmille Locoursier of Denver, CO.

Mrs. Flora Hillman of Houston, Presnall's sister and only surviving member of his immediate family attended the funeral.

Pallbearers were: Eddie Gaw, Harold Partain, Horace Botkin, Milton McWhorter, Dalton Allen, Carl Franklin.
