Wilson-Graveside services for Jesse E. "Shorty" Collins, Whitesboro, Texas, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bomar Point Cemetery with Rev. Owen Robertson officiating.
Collins was born Sept. 1, 1906 in Reagan. He died Jan. 5, 1987, in a Sherman, Texas, hospital. He was reared in Wilson and attended school here. He worked oilfields around the world and was a member of Seminole Lodge 957.
Two brothers preceded him in death, Buster and Grady Collins. he is survived by a son, Rick, of Norman, and two grandsons.
Alexander Funeral Home is in charge of services.
