A. A. (Abe) Miller, 60, Rt. 3, Comanche, died In a Comanche hospital at 3:15 p.m. Saturday after a long Illness. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Comanche Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J. E. Moore of Abilene, officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Mr. Miller was born Jan. 4, 1902, in Love County, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Miller. He moved to Oklahoma at the age of 5 years. He lived in Oklahoma about 15 years and then moved to Bailey County near Sudan, where he lived 40 years, prior to moving to Comanche three months ago. He was a ginner.
Mr. Miller was a member of the Baptist Church. Mr. Miller was married July 13, 1924 to Miss Dovie Lee Jackson. Survivors Include his Wife; three sons, Kenneth Woodson Miller of Grand Falls, Tex., Alfred James Miller of Maple, Tex., and Tommy Jerrell Miller of Monahans; five daughters, Mrs. Ruth Imogene Swanner of McCamey, Mrs. Claudine Laverne Hudspeth of Texline, Tex., Mrs. Rosa Lee Allen, Mrs. Myrtle Faye Schoolcraft and Mrs. Annie Kay Gray of Monahans; two brothers, Joe Miller of Comanche and Fenitha Miller of Pueblo, Colo.; three sisters, Mrs. Homer Williams of Comanche, Mrs. 0. L. Ridley of Alamogordo, N.M., and Mrs. Bert Moore of Midland, and 27 grandchildren.
