Johanna retired as a medical transcriptionist from TCS Orthopedic Clinic.
She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, member of Pulaski County Medical Society Auxiliary, Arkansas State Medical Society, and American Medical Association Auxiliary. She was also past president of the Little Rock Chapter, United Daughters of the Confederacy and past president of Japonica Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Julian Lee Foster; son, Jonathan Lee Foster; brother, Charles Swaim; and two sisters, Mary Swaim Smith and Minnie Swaim Crone. She is survived by a sister, Sally Swaim Green Little of North Little Rock; three grandchildren, Daniel Foster, Laura Graham, and Leah Foster; two great-grandchildren, Natalie Kutait and Reed Graham. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2008, at Edgewood Memorial Park in North Little Rock. Services are being arranged by Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th Street, Little Rock.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Episcopal Cathredal or to a favorite charity.
