LAUREL — Dale L. Cook
Dale L. Cook, 74, of Laurel, died Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, at Memory Chapel with burial at Memorial Gardens in Jones County. Rev. John Shepherd will officiate.
Prior to retirement, he was a general manager for Stewart Toyota in West Palm Beach, Fla.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Dee (Peaches) Cook.
Survivors include wife, Trena Cook of Laurel; three sons, Roy Cook of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Ed Collins and wife Shelley of Cumming, Ga., and Joey Collins and wife Debbie of Fort Wayne, Ind.; one daughter, Debi Cook of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; grandchildren, Brittany Collins, Kyle Collins, Ryan Collins, Haley Collins, and Lauren Grace Collins; 10 grandchildren; great grandchild, Alexa Fording and 5 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Collins, Kyle Collins, Joey Collins, Eddie Collins, Roy Cook, and Coy Lee Adams, Sr.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until service time on Saturday, Feb. 26, at Memory Chapel of Laurel, which is in charge of the arrangements.
Dale was married to Natalie Deetz on December 4, 1956. They had a daughter, Deborah (Debbie) son Roy, and then a daughter, Robin. They made their home in
columbus,Ga for many years. They later moved to Mobile, Alabama,where they divorced, and he married his second wife,Trena.
