Our beloved Daddy, Harley K. "HK" Maness, Sr. is the youngest son of Finis Kin & Lela Marquettie (Twilligear) Maness was born in Shamrock, Texas in Wheeler County. Harley wed his beautiful bride, Virginia Lee "Vergie" Jackson on August 30, 1947 in Henrietta, Texas in Clay County. To this union there was born 7 children: Connie Lee, Harley K. "Buddy" JR, Cynthia Ann, Virginia Elaine, Evelyn Darlene, Gary Lynn & Joel Steven Maness. Harley has 7 siblings: Finis Niner Maness, Francis Kinnith Maness, Opal Vestal Maness, Ruby Merlene Maness,James Hiram Grundy & Mattie Ellsworth Grundy & Wesley Samuel Maness. He was a devoted husband, father & made a good living for his family. He worked for Merchants Freight Lines for 38 years, after which he retired. He was a loving husband,Daddy & grandfather, great grandfather and a friend to all, but utmost he was a friend of Jesus! He will be forever missed and forever loved by his beloved family!
