Co K 25th Alabama Infantry
CSA

The 25th Infantry was formed at Mobile, Alabama, in December, 1861. The men were from the counties of Saint Clair, Talladega, Pickens, Shelby, Calhoun, Randolph, Coffee, and Pike. Kentucky Campaign, Army of Tennessee, from Murfreesboro to Atlanta, Hood in Tennessee, Kinston and Bentonville, Shiloh, Chickamauga. They surrendered at Goldsboro N. C.

Samuel was unmarried. He died in the Confederate Hospital in Atlanta Ga. He enlisted in the Confederate States Army in Elba, Coffee County, Alabama 8 Aug 1862.

Samuel was one of Six Sons of Noah Carroll, who joined the Confederate States Army. Sadly, only Two of them made it thru The War.

Noah, would have been a many Great Uncle, to me.
Thanks so much, RhondaJo for the Memorial and Picture.
