She was born August 29, 1999, at Dumas, Texas to Michael Lee and Melissa Dawn (Burks) Ferguson.
She was a strong and brave little girl with a bubbly and sweet personality who always had a smile to share. She loved to color, play with dogs, go fishing, and play her Nintendo. She was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by great grandparents, T. L. and Geraldine King, Alfred Pitts, Hazel Black, and Samuel Ferguson.
Survivors include her loving parents, Michael and Melissa Ferguson of Russellville; two brothers, Brandon Holt and Stephen Ferguson both of Russellville; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Carolyn Ferguson of Dumas, Texas; maternal grandparents, Steve and Brenda Burks of Borger, Texas; paternal great grandmother, Nettie Pitts of Ola; maternal great grandparents, Bennie and Lola Burks of Borger, Texas; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2006, at Saint John's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Darrell Kobs officiating. Burial under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.
Active pallbearers were Shayne Alexander, Ryan Ferguson, David Ellis, Allen Pitts, Michael Pitts, and Cary Morrison. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. David Becton and Dr. Richard Nicholas who were Jazlyn's doctors at the Arkansas Children's Hospital and Dr. Pramoda Mohapatra of Dumas, Texas.
