Lacy Ann Myers, 4, of Knox RD 1, died Tuesday evening, March 13, 2007, in Clarion Hospital, the result of an accidental drowning.
Born March 1, 2003, in Clarion, she was the daughter of Robbie and Christina Myers of Knox.
Lacy was a very outgoing child who loved pre-school, music, coloring and being with her extended family.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are a sister, Sasha Myers at home; maternal grandparents, Paula Wolf and husband, Gus Housen, of Pittsburgh and Larry and Becky Vucic of Knox; paternal grandparents, Debbie and Sidney Unverzaght of Knox and Randy Myers of California; maternal great-grandparents, George and Catherine Morris of Pittsburgh, William Henry of Knox and Paul and Barbara Wolf of Butler; paternal great-grandparents, Ruby and Gene Myers of Rimersburg, Ann McCleary of Knox and Wanda Unverzaght of Eau Claire.
Also surviving are a number of aunts and uncles: Zach Vucic of Knox, Jason and Tasha Grafton of California, Katherine Vucic of Cleveland, Ohio, and Sidney Unverzaght, Randy and Stephanie Myers and Jason and Mindy McCoy, all of Knox.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday in the David C. McEntire Funeral Home, 504 E. Penn St., Knox. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Frank Vucic, pastor of the Sugar Grove Baptist Church in Masontown and Lacy's great-uncle, and the Rev. Donald Poole, pastor of the Knox United Methodist Church, co-officiating.
Interment will follow in the Knox Union Cemetery.
