VALDA M. SHANTRY, age 85, of Shelby Twp. passed away February 8, 2011. She was born February 19, 1925 in Dresden, TN. Beloved wife of Robert E. Shantry and the late Robert H. Scheuer. Dear mother of Ken (Marcia) Scheuer, David (Tara) Scheuer, Robert (Lynn) Shantry, Becky Shantry, Tim (Terri) Shantry. She had a special relationship with her niece Debby whom she helped raise after her sister Jean passed away. Loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Wilma Scott, Bill Turbeville and John Turbeville. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She cherished her role as wife, mother and grandmother.
