Eddie King, 70, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at his residence.
He was a retired salesman from Delta Auto Sales, member of Parr Avenue Church of Christ and a member of Tennessee Air National Guard.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Scott Owen officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa H. King of Dyersburg; a daughter, Nikki King Springer and husband, Tim, of Dyersburg; two sons, Michael King and fiancée, Sherry Williams, both of Dyersburg and Keith King and wife, Timory, of Venice, CA.; three sisters, Doris Griffin Norton and husband, George, of Ripley, Patsy K. Holden and husband, John, and Nelle King Hollandsworth and husband, J.F., all of Dyersburg; and nine grandchildren, Krista King Allen and husband, Gary, Leah Michelle King, Savannah Rayne King, Allie McCall King, Zoie Elizabeth Springer, Easton Harris Springer, Tennessee Carter Dakota King, Savannah Lynn Williams and Adam Wade Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. E.R. and Ila Whitby King; a brother, Dr. B.W. King; and a grandson, Joseph Weston Springer.
Pallbearers will be Lynn Johnson, Gaylon Reagor, Doyle Willard, Ronnie Howie, Jim Simmons and Wayne Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Boswell, Bubba Tolar, Dan Tickle and Jimmy Thurmond.
