Alberta Lund was born August 1, 1901 to Laurits (also known as Luis or Lewis) and Margaret Olson Lund. (Her brother, Frederick M. Lund, aka "Fearless Freddie" was quite well known as a stunt pilot. Unfortunately, he died in an airplane accident in 1931. See his FAG page for details.)

Alberta was married to Carl Trowbridge in Crosby, North Dakota, in 1922. She and Carl Trowbridge had eight children: Delores, Merle, Alvina, Freddie, Marjorie, Roger, James, Lois. She and Carl were divorced sometime after 1943, when he was sent to prison for the murder of the chief of police in Park Rapids, Minnesota, where they were living. (See the FAG record for Frank Otis Town for details.)

Sometime later, Alberta married a widower, McKinley Craven, who had five children of his own with his first wife, Luella (Rutherford) Craven, who died in 1947. They were Harriet, Ethel, Gwendolyn, Ross, and Bob.

McKinley and Alberta lived in Pendleton, Oregon, for many years, where they both died, he in 1976, and she in 1992. They are both buried in the Olney Cemetery in Pendleton.
