GREENSBORO- Mrs. Marion Juanita "Nita" Bolejack Huckabee, 81, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 17, 2006.

The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Life Community Church of Hunter Hills with Pastor Jake Thornhill officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Gardens.

Mrs. Huckabee was a devoted member of Life Community Church of Hunter Hills and the Lowell Lewis Sunday School Class. She taught Sunday School for 35 years to children and helped in the nursery. She enjoyed making ceramics especially angels. She loved spending time at sporting events with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by brothers, James Bolejack, Bob Bolejack and sisters, Inez White, Pearl Goehring and Ruby Gibson.

Mrs. Huckabee is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Raymond D. "Pete" Huckabee; daughter Deanna Hodges and husband George of Greensboro; son Dr. Randy Huckabee and wife Carlene of Okeechobee, Fla.; sister-in-law Rae Sheppard of McLeansville; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Life Community Church of Hunter Hills, 4900 W. Wendover Ave., Jamestown, NC 27282 or to First Baptist Church of Okeechobee, 401 S. W. Fourth St., Okeechobee, FL 34974.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:30 p.m. today at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Vanstory St.
