Mrs. Dennis passed away Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, in Jacksonville.
She was born Aug. 20, 1935, in Fort Worth.
Mrs. Dennis was a member of First Baptist Church, Jacksonville, a loving mother, grandmother and a provider of numerous Holiday and Sunday meals. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, homecoming queen at Gaston High School, former Apache Belle and former employee of W.E. Bailey/Tommy Lee Insurance Agency and Jacksonville Insurance Agency.
She was preceded in death by her parents, R.M. and Estelle Shaw; Robert Jack Dennis Sr.; and son, Robert Jack Dennis Jr.
Survivors include sons, Randy Dennis and wife Lydia of Katy and Tony Dennis and wife Janet of Jacksonville; and six grandchildren, Rob Dennis, Tiffany Dennis, Tyler Dennis, Natasha Dennis, Grady Dennis and Reno Dominguez.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
