Charles Paschal ashes is burried in coffin with his mother. Charles Thomas Paschal, Sr., 75 of Pine Bluff died Wednesday at his home. He was born May 18, 1935 in Pine Bluff to Retha Orene Newman and the late Pete C. Paschal. He was a Baptist. He worked as a meter-reader for AP&L for 40 years and served in Germany as a PFC in the Army.
Survivors include his mother; Retha Orene Newman McCoy of Star City, 2 sons; Charles Thomas Paschal, Jr. of Batesville and Barry Dean Paschal of Woodlawn, 1 daughter; Jacquelyn Paschal-Marcus and husband William of Coral Springs, FL, 4 brothers; Jimmy Paschal, Pete C. Paschal, Jr., both of Texarkana, Dr. James R. McCoy of Searcy and Jerry A. McCoy of Star City, 7 grandchildren; Kara Marrero-Marcus, Taylor Marcus and Justin Marcus, all of Coral Springs, FL, Magen Paschal, Zach Paschal, Lauren Paschal and Christina Paschal, all of Batesville, 2 great grandchildren; Gracie Paschal and Raegyn Paschal, and the mother of his children; Veta Paschal-Green of Pine Bluff.
Memorial Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City. Bro. Don Breshears will officiate.
