He was born Aug. 25, 1923, in Dayton, Ohio, and came to Venice in 1979 from there. He was a stationary engineer for 37 years with National Cash Register in Dayton. He was a Mason, a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; three daughters, Robin Seubert of Greenville, Ohio, Kyle Smith of Tomball, Texas, and Melissa Reinke of Cumming, Ga.; two sons, Michael of Tipp City, Ohio, and Mark of Suwanee, Ga.; a brother, Robert of Waynesville, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. Entombment will follow at Venice Memorial Gardens."
