Ruth L. Schmidt, age 88, Wittenberg, died Monday, March 21, 2005, at the Homme Home of Wittenberg under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
She was born Oct. 31, 1916, in Merrill, the daughter of the late Karl and Laura (Junge) Schmidt.
Survivors include a sister, Mae (George) Muschinske, Rice Lake; two brothers, Howard (Lola) Schmidt, Wittenberg, and Roger (Betty) Schmidt, South Bend, Ind.; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by one brother, Earl.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Wittenberg. The Revs. Annette Ganschow and Peter Muschinske will officiate. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
