Actor. Though he was born in the United States, Theodore Marcuse (sometimes billed as Ted or Theo Marcuse) had a knack for portraying arrogant European villains and dictators and was frequently cast as such in films and TV. He acted in the films Jeanne Eagels (1957) and Operation Eichmann (1961) among others. He appeared in numerous television shows including Hawaiian Eye, Perry Mason, The Untouchables, 77 Sunset Strip, The Twilight Zone, Hogan's Heroes and The Wild Wild West. In one of his notable TV appearances he played an alien warlock named "Korob" in a Star Trek episode entitled Catspaw.
