Verlaine Brewer Allen, 83, died May 16, 2010 in Salt Lake City after a long illness.
She was born Dec 7, 1926 to Daniel William and Luretta Nielsen Brewer in Midvale, Utah. Verlaine was one of six children - the others are two brothers: Ross Kelvin Brewer of Orem, Utah and Daniel Duane Brewer of Phoenix, and three sisters: Mabel, Beverly, and Kathleen.
Verlaine married Paul J. Allen Oct 30, 1945 in Provo, Utah, and lived in American Fork, Utah most of her life. They have two sons and a daughter: Bill and Ron Allen, both of Spokane, Washington, and Sandra of Salt Lake City, Utah. She loved her family dearly.
She was preceded in death by husband, Paul J. Allen, and her three sisters: Mabel Bills, Springville, Utah; Beverly Crane, Salt Lake City, Utah; and Kathleen Withers, Taylorsville, Utah.
Funeral Services held on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, American Fork, Utah.
