Whereas, the Grand Master of the universe, on April 22nd, 1908, having been pleased to call our beloved brother, Thomas Walter Tennison, from earthly labor to eternal refreshment, who during the time he was a member by his kindness and courtesy that his memory will ever be cherished in our hearts. Therefore be it
Resolved, that the lodge in their bereavement has lost an active, earnest and zealous member who was thoroughly imbued
with the precepts and principles of our order. His life was marked by integrity and uprightness. He lived up to the cardinal Masonic virtues which are well known to every Free Mason and presented to his brethren and community an example and inspiration to better deed.
Resolved, That as we bow down in humble submission to the Divine will we mourn the loss of an earnest and efficient brother, a devoted adherent of Free Masony and a faithful friend whose daily life has clearly reflected the fundamental truths and tenents of our fraternity.
Resolved, That we sincerely, deeply and affectionately sympathize with his afflicted family in their sorrow, reminding them that he who tempers the wind to the shorn lamb looks down with infinite compassion upon them in their dark hour of desolation.
Resolved, That these resolutions be spread in full on the
Minutes, a copy sent to the Booneville and Iuka papers and the wife of the deceased.
