CARROLL: Ray O. Coleman,76, of Carroll, Ohio passed away February 18, 2011 at the Pickering House.
He was born on December 7, 1934 in Pliny, West Virginia to the late Wilbert and Elsie (Saxton) Coleman.
Ray enjoyed visiting Scoons and the Town Tavern in Carroll. He enjoyed classic cars and spending time withhis grandcholdren and great-grandchildren.
Ray leaved behind his loving consisting of his sons, Ray (Cathy) Coleman of Minot, North Dakota and Lloyd (Shelah) Coleman of Carroll, Ohio; grandchildren, Jeremy (Kristy) Coleman, Justin Coleman, Valerie (William) Alspaugh, Josh Coleman and Kristy (Reggie) Coleman-Johnson; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul (Linda) Coleman and Roy (Dorothy) Coleman; sister, Alta "Sue" Cutright; and a special thank you to nephew, Denis "Buzz" Dunn.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Loretta Mae Coleman; and grandson, Jason Coleman; and many other brothers and sisters.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the SHERIDAN FUNERAL HOME. A funeral service will be held on WEdnesday, February 23, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the SHERIDAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Dave Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Carroll Cemetery.
