The Huntsville Times, Monday, June 18, 1984: Lacey’s Spring. Bobby Sharp, 37, of Star Route, Lacey’s Spring, died Saturday at Huntsville Hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at the Church of the Living God with the Rev. Walter L. Peace officiating. Burial was to be in the Miller Cemetery with New Hope Funeral Home in charge. Survivors include a son, Ronnie Lee Sharp of Kansas; a daughter, Miss Bobbie Jo Sharp of Kansas; his mother, Mrs. Lela Sharp of Lacey’s Spring; six brothers, Hugo Sharp, James Sharp, Johnny Sharp, Donald Sharp and Bill Sharp, all of Lacey’s Spring, and Charles Sharp of Michigan; and three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Thornberry and Mrs. Oma Sharp, both of Chicago, and Mrs. Anita Floyd of Mississippi.
